At Aromis, you can hear your holiday when the birds are singing and the wind whispers and rustles through the vineyards.
You can see the landscape in the valley and the surrounding mountains through the panoramic view.
You can smell the scent of the vineyard and the herbs in the garden.
Taste the homemade jams and juices, and
feel the wood in the apartment, as well as the plants and fruits in the garden.
Relax by the Pool
Our pool
... also for the cooler seasons
Relax by the pool right next to your apartment. After a hike or bike ride, after a city visit or wine tasting, a dip in the cool water is always very refreshing. Or simply spend a day lounging on our sunbathing lawn or the sun terrace by the pool.
Our saltwater pool is heated using solar energy and can be covered during the cooler season with a modern retractable roof, making it usable from the end of March to the beginning of November.
The salt electrolysis disinfection provides better water quality that does not dry out the skin and has a nurturing and connective tissue-firming effect on the eyes and skin.
The pool will be in operation from April 13, 2025, to November 2, 2025.
Reception and common room
Not only a place where you find all the necessary information, but also a place for encounters. In the cozy lounge, you will find the reception area with many brochures, excursion tips, and up-to-date information about the surroundings. There is also a library, board games, and a small bar offering farm products from our partner business "Leuchtenhof".
Accessible to our guests at all times, this is meant to be a meeting point for everyone!
Climate house and architecture
It was our concern to choose an energy-efficient and sustainable construction method. Only natural materials that are environmentally friendly and health-compatible were used in the selection of materials. It was also very important to us that future generations can dispose of or recycle the materials without any problems.
The apartments meet the strict Climate House A standard, which requires a calculated heating energy demand of less than 30 kilowatt-hours per square meter of living space per year and an extremely low carbon dioxide emission. The controlled ventilation system ensures a constant supply of fresh air and maintains the room temperature.
The basic structure of the old house was preserved but completely renovated and rebuilt from the first ceiling upwards. For the "floating" extension, we chose the timber construction method: solid wood, with its natural climate-regulating ability, can keep humidity and temperature at a comfortable level.
Custom-made thermal insulation windows and doors prevent temperature fluctuations and allow plenty of light to enter the rooms.
An underground reservoir collects rainwater, which is used to irrigate the garden and the adjacent vineyard.
For the furnishings and the modern extension, we chose untreated wood and accept that it may weather or get damaged by pressure or falling objects — just as wood would naturally change in the outdoors.
The fragrant herb garden
A special place at Aromis is our idyllic fragrant herb garden. Surrounded by a cyclopean wall made of porphyry from the Cembra Valley, various aromatic herbs find their home here. They not only spread a pleasant, relaxing scent but also enhance the flavor of your homemade dishes. Please help yourself!
